Joint Youth Group
Hello and welcome to the Joint Youth Group! We are comprised of youth ages 12-17 from the Armenian Memorial Church and the First Armenian church. We meet on Sunday nights from 4-6pm. We play games, have a time of worship, listen to a short message from a guest speaker, interact in lively discussion groups, and eat snacks! We also have monthly social or service events. As a group we go out to eat, have fun activities such as playing laser tag, and have overnight events in the church called lock-ins. We also travel together to attend AEYF (Armenian Evangelical Youth Fellowship) conferences in the Fall, Spring and Summer. Youth group is a great place for the young people of our Armenian Evangelical churches to interact, to make friends and to grow in their faith in a safe, healthy and Christian environment.
This year we have been talking about how to live your life as a follower of Christ. We have had a number of different speakers that have talked with us about topics like friends, evangelizing, anger, gossip, and so on.
We have three great leaders that plan and organize JYG meetings and events. They are Antranig Boynerian from the Armenian Memorial Church, and Michael Guyumdzhyan from the First Armenian Church. If you have questions about your faith or are interested in learning more about God, our Youth group has answers and opportunities for you to explore. So please join us every Sunday evening from 4pm-6pm and sign up to our email list by emailing
firstname.lastname@example.org to stay tuned about the exciting events coming up throughout the year and one of the leaders will be sure to get in touch with you. We would love to have you there!
