Thursday Evening Bible Study for All
Join us Thursday nights for an in-depth look at what the Bible says to us about the questions of life that are most important. If you want to learn about who God is, what our relationship is called to be with Him, or what our calling is as Christians, then this evening Bible study is for you! The studies include both topical presentations and explorations of Scriptures as they relate to our daily lives. We enjoy broaching important philosophical questions of life as well as becoming acquainted with the Bible’s original languages through learning Greek and Hebrew terms for important concepts. We speak about the history of biblical texts, as well as the cultural and political climates of regions connected with relevant writings. We touch on apologetics as well as church history when appropriate.
Our primary goal is to grow in the knowledge of God the Holy Trinity and His Word.
• We also want to:
o Seek God in prayer and in His Word,
o Have greater trust in Him,
o Gain greater understanding of who we are as believers,
o Build relationships with each other through discussion,
o Grow in our faith-walk and create an atmosphere of free discussion,
o Strengthen our bonds of unity as brothers and sisters in the Lord,
o Be equipped with the knowledge of His Word and His Identity
o Engage others with the life-saving Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our sessions begin at 7pm every other Thursday, and they are open to all who wish to come and be blessed by God’s Word. We meet at the church, and are led by Rev. Joseph Garabedian. Please feel free to contact him with any questions at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call the church office at 617-484-4779.
