Vacation Bible School 2018

Come join us for Vacation Bible School!  As many of you know, the First Armenian Church has a wonderful camp program during the summer for kids ages 3-10!  This year’s VBS will take place from Aug. 13-17, 2018 from 9:00am - 12:00pm. The kids have a wonderful time learning new songs, meeting new friends, playing games, and participating in arts and crafts. There are larger group activities mixed with smaller group lessons and discussions.  A mid-morning snack will be provided for your children so you do not need to send any snacks or drinks with them.

This year, your kids will sail away to a special island where they will learn how Jesus rescues through life’s storms.  On our island, they will get to experience a deeper relationship with God through Jesus Christ as they explore the island and encounter new adventures!  Each day, we will focus on one particular theme and Bible story to help them understand how Jesus comes to the rescue!

Monday:  When you’re lonely…Jesus rescues!  (Luke)
Tuesday:  When you worry…Jesus rescues!  (Luke)
Wednesday: When you struggle…Jesus rescues! (Luke & Matthew)
Thursday:  When you do wrong…Jesus rescues! (Luke)
Friday:  When you’re powerless…Jesus rescues! (Acts)

All are welcome to take part in VBS, without any charge.  If you would like to make a donation to FAC, all donations are welcome.

Please note, if your children are less than 3, they are most certainly welcome to come with you and participate in the singing, and perhaps other games and activities, as you see fit.  We ask that a responsible adult stays with them during the actual camp time.

We also require written notification to be given to the teacher if someone other than the parents/guardian is to pick up your child/children at any time throughout VBS.  Please note that teachers and staff are not allowed to administer medication to your children during the camp hours.

Please sign up as early as you can to help us plan for our week.  We ask that all children are signed up no later than July 31, 2018.
