Ordination & Installation of Rev. Sevag K. Melkonian
On Saturday, April 11, 2026, First Armenian Church of Belmont joyfully gathered to celebrate the ordination and installation of Rev. Sevag K. Melkonian. This sacred and historic service marked a significant milestone in the life of our church, as we affirmed God’s calling and welcomed Pastor Sevag into his ministry among us.
Event Highlights:
The service was filled with worship, scripture, prayer, and the presence of clergy and guests from across the Armenian Evangelical community and beyond. The ordination included the formal presentation of the candidate, vows of installation, and the laying on of hands—a powerful moment symbolizing blessing and commissioning into pastoral service.
Messages of encouragement were shared by church leaders and partner organizations, followed by a time of fellowship and celebration with the congregation.
We give thanks to God for His faithfulness and look forward to Rev. Sevag Melkonian's future ministry at First Armenian Church. May this new chapter be marked by spiritual growth, unity, and continued service to our community.
We also extend our sincere gratitude to all the volunteers and members of the Ordination and Installation Committee whose time, dedication, and service made this special day possible.
