Vacation Bible School 2026
Our Vacation Bible School is back for yet another summer, and stronger than ever! It will be taking place the week of August 17 - 21 from 9 am-12 pm. We invite all 3–10-year-olds to join us. The kids have a wonderful time learning contemporary bible songs, meeting new friends, praying together, engaging in discussions, playing games, and participating in arts and crafts.
The theme for this year is Snowball Mountain Challenge. Kids are invited to exciting winter sports events where they become Challengers, gearing up for frosty games, snowy surprises, and hands-on lessons about resilience and faith. Using their Challenge Companion (the Bible), they learn to draw strength from their faith through powerful stories, while connecting the learnings to Bible Stories and Lift Lessons teaching kids that “I can do all things through him who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13, NRSV).
Throughout the course of each day, we will focus on Philippians 4:13 while bringing the related Bible story to life for all!
Lessons:
Monday: Joseph Interprets Dreams (Genesis 40:1-41:45)
Tuesday: Esther Shows Courage (Esther 3:7-8:8)
Wednesday: The Widow's Offering (Mark 12:41-44)
Thursday: Jesus Prays in the Garden (Matthew 26:36-46)
Friday: Peter and John at the Temple (Acts 3:1-10)
CAMPER REGISTRATION:
The registration form is for children ages 3-10 and will be posted shortly.
Our registration deadline will be July 15, 2026, or when we hit our capacity limit, whichever comes first.
PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
Since we are a volunteer-run ministry, we are always in need of parent volunteers to help out. There will be an opportunity on the Camper Registration Form for adults to sign up to volunteer throughout the week. You can also email us at VBSBelmont@gmail.com to let us know you are available to volunteer.
How to support VBS financially:
The First Armenian Church VBS impacts many children of our Christian community, and they, in turn, learn hands-on what it means to give back to the community. Typically, over 70 children attend our program alongside almost 40 middle school, high school, and adult volunteers and educators.
To help fund our efforts, we invite you to donate to our ministry. We have been able to keep this ministry FREE of charge and growing for 27 years, solely from the generosity of our community. We provide daily educational materials, crafts, snacks, tailored games, and printed material with costs that add up. Our costs are now between $1,500 - $2000 and continue to increase each year.
Your contribution will keep supporting this ministry and will allow us to continue our mission to impact the children with biblical truths.
You can donate online by clicking here: I support VBS (and designate VBS Programming and Operations in the drop-down menu)
You may also write a check payable to "FAC" with "VBS" in the memo line on the check and mail it to the FAC office - 380 Concord Ave, Belmont, MA 02478
